Family is what you make of it, no?

Lilo and Stitch is one of my daughter's favorite movies of all time. She asked me to make her Lilo's dress for Halloween of '07. I took her by the beach for some photos to show her nana and uncles. I absolutely adore how this one turned out.

For the record, she was 3 years old when this photo was taken and is 6 now. The Stitch is still her favorite stuffed animal to sleep next to at night.

She's now back from school and I told her what everyone has said. She says 'Thank you!' to everyone!

Update 7/12: I had no idea this photo would blow up so much. My girl said she is happy that she is able to make everyone happy with this. A warm welcome to the denizens of memebase and the various sites that have included this on their little homes.

So sorry that this is late! Christmas was super busy! She said, "That's a cute kitty!" ...she then said she wanted one of her own for Christmas. Sigh.
